A Blackhawk Flies Overhead

As I was waiting for the next ship, I heard a pretty distinctive sound.  It was definitely a helicopter.
As I make this post, I realize that I've never made a post with a Blackhawk on here.  So you know what that means.

The UH-60 Blackhawk is manufactured by the Sikorsky Corporation.  It was submitted as a design as a replacement for the UH-1 Huey in 1972.  It beat out a design by Boeing.  It first flew in 1974 and was introduced to service in 1979.

The US Army is its primary user but there are modified Blackhawks used by the Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
