Two Ships Pass

I didn't see a ship on the board coming from Superior to Huron, so this was a nice surprise. I got to see two ships passing each other. One was coming in the locks and the other was leaving.

And sometimes the secret to a good photo is timing. I just love how this shot turned out. You have the International Bridge framing it. The two ships passing each other. The mist just about obscuring the bridge of one ship, the other ship starting to fade into the mist. The almost black and white quality to the shot because of the mist. Everything. I think I even got a decent composition on this one.
