It wasn't long for the first ship.
The Mesabi Miner was heading down from Superior.
She was carrying a load of taconite.
The Mesabi Miner was heading for Cleveland.
A thousand footer like this will drop off her cargo at the Cleveland Bulk Terminal.
Smaller ships will pick it up there and carry it down to the steel mill on the Cuyahoga River.
It was pretty nice to see.
She looks pretty cool.
It seems like the Interlake ships are always in good shape. I see the occasional scrapes but I don't usually see rust on them.
