A Brief Stop at the Saugatuck Dunes

The next stop in my quest for history took me to the Saugatuck Dunes.

 On the other side of the Kalamazoo River is the Saugatuck State Park.  It is a pretty nice little day park with some pretty nice trails.  Something tells me this was probably heavier forested in the past.

 After a nice little walk over some hills, you are treated to a pretty nice beach.

 And the dunes.
