The Genesis Victory Makes an Appearance

I ended up taking a half day today in order to catch the USS Detroit as she approached Detroit.  She was following a ship that I've never seen before.

 The Genesis Victory was built by Halter Marine out of New Orleans, LA in 1981.  She is owned by Genesis Energy of Houston, TX.

 She was on her way to Toledo, Ohio but I'm not sure what she was carrying.

 Anyway, it was pretty neat to see a vessel I haven't seen before.
