The Other Fire Boat

As I was taking pictures of other stuff, I heard a horn blowing from near the fire station.  It turns out that it belonged to Detroit's newest fireboat.

The boat is named after Sivad Johnson.  Sivad Johnson was a 26 year veteran of the Detroit Fire Department.  He was at Belle Isle on his day off.  He heard the screaming of three girls and went into action.  He was able to save them but then was caught in a rip current.  He was awarded the Detroit Medal of Honor.
The boat was named after him.
It's amazing that Detroit has two fireboats when there are apparently so many cities that don't even have one.  And these are cities that you would think would have one.
