Catching the John D. Leitch

I was happy to see that I had a chance to catch this ship.

 This ship is of course the John D. Leitch.    I think she is one of the more unique looking ships on the Lakes.

 Apparently the reason for her unusual pilothouse is that she can carry more cargo in her holds.

 She was on her way to Quebec City.

 I am not sure what she was carrying though.

 But she is one of my favorites.

And I hope to see her for a few more years anyway.
