The Trombley House in Bay City

This was near where I took pictures of the Santa Maria.
I didn't take pictures from the front, but it is not much different looking that this.  The Trombley House was built by Medor and Joseph Trombley who were both French fur traders.  Construction was began in 1835 and completed in 1837.  It was used as a house, a trading post and an inn.  In the 1840s, the house was sold to James McCormick who converted into into a residence.  In 1854, Medor took ownership of the house again and used it as an Inn.  In 1981, it was moved to this location from it's original location which was on the east side of the city.
The Trombley House has the distinction of being the first frame house in Bay County.
This is the Meyers Log Cabin and I'm not sure if it is an example of early homes in Bay City or if it is one of the early homes in Bay City.
