The Brick Walker Tavern

I don't know how many times I have passed this building without taking a picture of it.  It is at the intersection of US-12 and M-50.  It apparently has a bit of history.
In 1836, a wooden frame structure was built across the road from this location by Calvin Snell.  This structure was bought by Sylvester Walker.  This building was operated as a tavern.  In 1853, the above structure was built and used as a tavern.
In the 1850s, there were railroads that passed by this location.  This changed this area from a stagecoach hub to a gathering place.  Later, this was used as a staging point for Irish Hills.
