The Bluewater Bridge

The Bluewater Bridge connects Port Huron in Michigan to Sarnia in Canada. The first bridge was built in 1938 and the second was built in 1997. Both span over 6000 feet.

This is a view of the south span which is the newer bridge. This one is a continuous tied arch.

This is another view of that bridge.

The one on the right would be the south span.

This is the north span which is a cantilever truss. I think I like the looks of this one a little better.
