A Goatsbeard Seed

I decided to go boatwatching yesterday.  Prior to boatwatching, I decided to stop at Metro Airport for a bit but I didn't see any planes and I was crunched for time, so I moved along.

 I did however see this grouping of seeds which I believe is goatsbeard.

 It was kind of neat because it looked like a dandelion on steroids.
