The Chicago Skyway

My GPS had me use the Chicago Skyway to get to O'Hare.  Normally, I take I-94 around the city.  Mainly because it's free but I think the Skyway is a little quicker.
The bridge and viaduct system is a total of 7.8 miles.  This allows it to go over South Chicago.  Construction was completed in 1958.  The bridge used design elements that were popular in later years, making it look like a bridge from the 70's instead of the 50's.  It is pretty cool and this way does give a pretty neat view of the city.
