I decided to take the day off yesterday. As luck would have it, the Anderson was making her way up the St. Clair River. So I decided to go catch her.
The Anderson was returning from Conneaut after she delivered a load of taconite that she offloaded from the wounded Roger Blough. The Roger Blough struck a reef near Gros Gap and ended up getting grounded. After lightening with the Clarke, she was able to get off the reef. The Anderson took the rest of her load.
I think she was then on her way to either Calcite or Stoneport where she would pick up a load of stone. As I type this post, she is on her way to Buffington, Indiana. That is quite a haul.
But it was nice to see her.
She makes her way under the Blue Water Bridge.
A shot of her pilothouse.
And deckhouse.
And she continues on her way to Lake Huron.
