A Brief Stop at the Eagle's Nest

It's really amazing that there is an eagle's nest in what amounts to being an urban area.  Granted, it is tucked away at and end of the island that doesn't get as much traffic but still.  It is also pretty far in the woods and probably wont be visible when the leaves start to come out.

 As I was looking at the nest, I noticed that there was an eaglet in it.  You can't really tell that though but it's to the left of the mother eagle.

Another shot.  Even though the eagle is blocked by the branches, I do like these pictures.
