Catching a New Ship

This wasn't the ship that I was heading up to see but it was still pretty cool nonetheless.
The ship is the Amoenitas.  She is a heavy lift ship.  Someone said that she was carrying a turbine on the way up.  It doesn't look like she is carrying anything back.
She was built in 2010 by Kouan Shipbuilding in China.  She was known as the Hyundai Phoenix at that time.
She then because the Palanpur until 2019.
She acquired her current name in 2019 and is owned by Harren and Partner in Germany.
Like so many foreign ships, she is flagged with a flag of convenience.  In this case, the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.
Typically nations that offer flags of convenience offer a tax haven.  They also allow shipping companies to avoid laws like the Jones Act.  I don't know if the Jones Act is unique to the United States but it requires that ships are built here and crewed by a percentage of Americans.
But politics aside, this is a pretty neat looking ship.
It sets off well against the blue water.
 She continues down the river.
And more of a stern shot.
