The Ronnie Makes an Appearance

So on my birthday I decided to go boatwatching (shocking, I know).  It would be a whirlwind day but I decided to start in Port Huron.

This ship kind of snuck up on me but I was glad to catch it.
It belongs to Dship Carriers out of Frankfurt, Germany.
She is a new vessel that was built this year.  She named after Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones.  She has two sister ships named Mick and Keith.
She is carrying turbine blades to Burns Harbor.
She is 485 feet long and can carry 12,000 metric tons of cargo.
I will have to say that it is pretty cool that she is named after one of the Rolling Stones.
the beam shot.
She continues towards Lake Huron.
Framed by the Blue Water Bridge.
And she continues on.
One more shot.
