An Eagle on Belle Isle

I've seen an eagle on Belle Isle once before, but he was flying over the island and I didn't get great pictures of him.

 I was happy to see this guy but he was a little on the far side.  Fortunately, I have a lens with the reach and I took clear enough pictures to blow them up.

 He was sitting over a part of the island that they are constructing on, so he wasn't really getting bothered.  I think this was also a spot where he could look for food.

Based on the fact that he still has some coloring on his head, he looks to be a young eagle.

 I want to say he is around five years old because that's when they get a completely white head.

At any rate, he looks pretty well fed.
