It has been a while since I have taken a picture of the Spirit of Detroit. Since I was taking a picture of the Ren Cen from Jefferson and Woodward, I figured that I might as well take a picture of the statue.
I think the statue takes on a different appearance when it is lit up. I think they have different filters for the lights, hence the red lights. Unfortunately, this picture is a little blurrier than I hoped.
I really love the face.
It has that 50's look to it.
So anywho...

This is a really cool statue! I love the face too; it has Promethean fire, juxtaposed with the American-style hair.
