Our Possible National Bird...

So I was wandering down one of the roads near Bay City, and there is a spot where Dow Chemical has set up for deer viewing. I did see some deer but they were pretty far back. As I scanned the field, I noticed these turkeys. I've been trying to get pictures of turkeys for a long time. Generally by the time I get the camera ready, they are long gone.

These turkeys managed to stick around for a long time. It was pretty cool.

I cropped one of the pictures, to get this shot. I think they are neat birds but I'm glad they didn't become our national bird.
