Vinton Building

Standing at the corner of Woodward and Congress is the Vinton Building. It is another building that was designed by Albert Kahn (I really tried hard to avoid his buildings tonight...but its hard). It stands 12 stories tall with 2 stories worth of basement and is in the neo-classical style.

It was built in 1916. It is under renovation at the moment.

What entity is paying for renovations, and what do they plan to do with the building?

I don't know, I just saw the scaffolding around the bottom and assumed that someone is renovating it.
