Unfortunately, it was a gray and dreary day, so the lighting wasn't the greatest. Didn't have a tripod with me.
I love how they just look at me.
Here they are as they are about to bolt.
Interestingly enough, the white tailed deer is Michigan's state game animal.

I always thought Michigan's nickname was the "Wolverine State"? Has that been superseded by "Great Lakes State"?
I think it is either. I realized an error in this post, I should have said game animal. The wolverine is still the state animal.
