A Detroit Police Helicopter Passes Overhead

Also while I waiting for the next ship, this guy passed overhead.

The helicopter is a Bell OH-58 which is known as the Kiowa in military parlance.  In the military it is used for observation and fire support.  It first flew in 1966 and was introduced in 1969.  It has been exported to several countries.  This particular one was owned by the Delaware River and Bay Authority before being sold to the Detroit Police Department.
