As you can see, the Huron is a little higher than it should be. Normally this would all be grass.
I was going to try for something abstract. So I shot up into the tree. A few years ago, I took a glass called Fractal Geometry which dealt with the math behind Fractals. I wonder what formula would generate this one?
As I was wandering around the tree, I decided to take a shot looking up the trunk. It's amazing how things from different angles can look abstract.
The other tree from a different angle. This is the shot that prompted me to go back and get my other lens. I like the reflection of the tree in the water. I'm not so keen on the people in the background though.
Another attempt at fractals....
I wonder how well this would work in black and white?
For this one, I was closing in on a trunk. I kind of wish it were a little more in focus though.
Same with this one. I kind of like it though. Might try messing around in black and white with it.
The water crossing the path.
Looking up another trunk.
Looking out across the pond. Again, I wish the water were smoother.
One last shot across the pond. I do like the looks of Gallup.
