A Kestrel

So yesterday I went up to my uncle's place for Thanksgiving after picking up my mom.  So I decided to stop by the eagle's place before heading for dinner.  We didn't see the eagle but we did see this guy.

I think it is a Kestrel but I thought they had some other colors in them.  So I looked it up and I'm pretty sure it is a kestrel.

Kestrels are native to Michigan  and I think they are either one of the smallest or the smallest bird of prey.

The kestrel is related to the falcon and will eat small animals, insects and snakes.

They are also one of the bolder raptors and will live closer to humans than others.
