The Fist

Probably one of the most iconic images of Detroit is the sculpture of Joe Louis' fist at the intersection of Woodward and Jefferson. I think just about every bit of stock footage of Detroit will show this. But I still like it.

My favorite view of the fist. I think if you were one of Joe's opponents, this would not be the view you would want.

For this shot, I tried to get a shot of two of Detroit's icons...The Fist and the Spirit of Detroit. I think it kind of works, although I wish the Spirit were a little bigger.
