The Edgar Speer on Lake Huron

With the slight delay because of breakfast, it seemed that the Speer was keeping pace with us.  As I was taking the pictures of the rocks, I looked out on Lake Huron and caught the distinctive shape of the ship.

I think one of the things that amazes people that are not from one of the Great Lakes States is just how big the Great Lakes are.  People are amazed that we actually have ships that could probably ply the oceans on them.  They are also amazed that there are spots where you can't see the other side of the lake.  In this case, I think there was a slight haze but still.
